Homemade Rosewater
A simple recipe to make the perfect homemade rosewater.
Equipment
- pint size wide mouth mason jar
- strainer
- cheesecloth
- glass mist spray bottle
Ingredients
- 1 cup dried rose petals
- witch hazel
- distilled water
Instructions
- Add the rose petals into the mason jar.
- Make a mixture that is 3/4 parts witch hazel and 1/4 part distilled water.
- Pour the mixture over the rose petals covering them completely with an additional 2-3 inches of liquid above the petals.
- Cover the jar and allow the mixture to sit for 2-3 in a dark area shaking every day.
- Strain the mixture using a strainer lined with cheesecloth and bottle for use.
