Homemade Hummingbird Nectar

Make hummingbird nectar at home - (with ingredients you probably already have!)

- ΒΌ cup white sugar
- 1 cup water
Heat water on stove until boiling.
Remove from heat and stir in white sugar until completely dissolved.
Set aside and let cool before adding to a clean feeder.
Store any extra nectar in the fridge for up to two weeks.
IMPORTANT:
- DO NOT ADD ANY RED DYE TO THE NECTAR. RED DYE IS UNNECESSARY AND CAN BE HARMFUL TO THE BIRDS.
- DO NOT SUBSTITUTE THE WHITE SUGAR FOR WITH ANY OTHER SWEETNER.
- REPLACE WATER AND CLEAN FEEDER THOROUGHLY EVERY OTHER DAY TO INHIBIT DEADLY MOLD GROWTH.
