Method
- Heat water on stove until boiling.
- Remove from heat and stir in white sugar until completely dissolved.
- Set aside and let cool before adding to a clean feeder.
- Store any extra nectar in the fridge for up to two weeks.
Notes
IMPORTANT:
- DO NOT ADD ANY RED DYE TO THE NECTAR. RED DYE IS UNNECESSARY AND CAN BE HARMFUL TO THE BIRDS.
- DO NOT SUBSTITUTE THE WHITE SUGAR FOR WITH ANY OTHER SWEETNER.
- REPLACE WATER AND CLEAN FEEDER THOROUGHLY EVERY OTHER DAY TO INHIBIT DEADLY MOLD GROWTH.
