Here’s what you need:

  • Assorted citrus fruits
  • Knife or mandoline
  • Baking tray
  • Parchment paper or silicone baking mat

Here’s what you do:

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°F.
  2. Pick your variety of citrus. Lemon, oranges, grapefruit, and limes are all fun to try and will give you a beautiful color variety.
  3. Slice them to about 1/4 inch thick. I liked to use my mandolin for this step to create the perfect uniformed slices. Please use caution when using your mandolin slicer. I’ve taken off my fingertips too many times.
  4. Place the citrus rounds in a single layer on a baking tray lined with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
  5. Place them into the oven and bake for about 2.5 hours. Flipping the citrus rounds every 30 minutes.
  6. Once completely dry, let the citrus rounds cool on a baking rack.
