Homemade croutons are really easy to make and taste so much better than store bought croutons.
They are the perfect topping on salads and soups. Or snacking on them right off the baking sheet!
These homemade croutons only need a few ingredients and will be out of the oven and in your bowl (or hand) in less than 15 minutes.
Quick and Easy Garlic & Herb Croutons
These homemade croutons only need a few ingredients and will be out of the oven and in your bowl (or hand) in less than 15 minutes.
Ingredients
- 4 cups Bread cut into 1 inch cubes
- 1 tbsp Olive oil
- 1/2 tbsp Garlic powder
- 1/2 tbsp Parsley dried, or chopped if fresh
- 1/2 tsp Salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Combine the bread, garlic powder, parsley and salt in a large bowl.
- Drizzle with olive oil and stir to mix all the ingredients until the bread is evenly coated.
- Spread out the bread pieces onto a cookie sheet.
- Bake at 375°F for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown. Keep an eye on it to make sure it doesn't burn. Fresh bread may take a little longer, where older bread will take less time.
